In May 1971, Ron Tamlyn, Sr. and his wife Jean took a leap of faith, borrowing $800 to start the company from a small shed in the backyard of their modest home in Bellaire, Texas. What began as a humble venture has since grown into a globally recognized leader in the industry, with TAMLYN remaining family-owned and operated to this day.
