Information

Render systems have served as a trusted cladding solution for centuries, evolving to meet the demands of both commercial and residential construction across diverse climate zones. As building codes increasingly emphasize energy efficiency and fire safety, integrating continuous insulation has become essential to high-performance wall assemblies.

This session will examine the application of noncombustible stone-wool insulation in both traditional and contemporary render systems, including hard-coat stucco and exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS). Join us to discuss the historical context of render systems and their modern evolution while gaining practical insights into code compliance, system variations, and design flexibility.
